Regarding the Emergency Situation Surcharge
In light of the current global COVID-19 situation and its impact on the aviation industry, all major logistics providers have implemented an emergency surcharge on air freight to all customers.
Why is this emergency surcharge implemented to me now?
Elmatica has covered the emergency surcharge cost since 1 April 2020, when it was implemented. As this emergency surcharge continues to be in effect, Elmatica will implement an emergency surcharge to all our orders with air shipment, to cover this cost.
What does this mean?
With effect from 19 May 2020, all orders shipped by air freight will temporarily, until further notice, include an Emergency Situation Surcharge according to its weight, origin and destination.
This surcharge will appear on your invoice as an additional line of cost and charged in your predetermined currency.
